NITCHER & COSTILLO:

In a history of Oberlin the blacksmithing business should not be overlooked. These sturdy sons of toll have been instrumental in carrying on the vast agricultural industry which surrounds Oberlin and you can hear the merry ring of the anvil all day long.

Nitcher & Costillo have been here for sixteen and ten years respectively, and carry on a general blacksmithing and repair work with a woodworking shop in connection. They are both skillful mechanics in anything that pertains to the line of blacksmithing.

Mr. Thomas Haskins looks after the woodworking part of this shop. He is up to date in this line and has been here twenty-two years. When he came here there was just one house and that of sod, but the immediate prairies were lined with tents.
